Tony began singing gospel at the early age of three - in the Children's Choir, the Young Adult Choir, and the Inspirational Choir - all at the Oak Grove Baptist Church in Philadelphia, PA., the Rev William Sullivan Sr., Pastor.

Tony also sang lead vocal for the Scott's International Chorus at the New Bethlehem Baptist Church in Philadelphia, Pa., the Rev Scott Jones, Pastor.

Tony formed a gospel group called Heavenly Joy, and was also instrumental in forming a male chorus at his own church.

Tony is a multi-talented individual which include R&B vocals and/or choreographer for such groups as "The Perfections", "Blue Magic", "The Intrigues", "Taylor Made", "The Ebonys", former Motown recording artists "Ron Thorpe & The Hearts of Stone".

Tony is also lead vocal for "The Phillies Intruders"- in honor of one of his favorite singers - Philadelphia's own, the late great "Little Sonny" of The Intruders.

Still - Tony's roots are with gospel singing, and in the early part of 1991 - while he was auditioning for an R&B position - Tony was approached by Michael G (one of our founders) and asked if he would consider singing for the Lord, and Tony replied that singing gospel is really what he wanted to do.

Tony was then introduced to Bro Erskin, and soon after - the Lord sent George and - Glory to GOD, "Fully Committed" was born.

Michael G left the group later in 1992, but we are still

"Fully Committed" to singing the Gospel of Jesus Christ!

Erskin come from a family of singers - his father on the Male Chorus, mother on the Senior Mass Choir, sister on the Young Adult Choir, and Erskin - age six - on the Heavenly Charms Choir - all at Enon Baptist Church in Philadelphia, PA., Reverend W.E. Cook, DD, Pastor.

Erskin learned harmony from his older brother who was a member of a local do-wop group who recorded their own original 45 record in the early 60's, making Erskin the second recording artist in the family.

Erskin was raised in the church, studied the Scriptures and received his calling to the ministry at an early age and delivered his trial sermon at Faith & Deliverance C.O.G.I.C of Philadelphia, PA., under Evangelist Evelyn Gassette-Bunton, Th, DD, Pastor.

Erskin then began preaching in the streets of Philadelphia, PA. With a bullhorn in one hand and the Bible in the other, he believed a difference could be made in the lives of those surrounded by gangs, drugs and violence.

Erskin went on to form a singing group called "The Voices of Recovery" and began producing and recording under the name T-VOR Productions. He then helped put together an accoppella/musical group called "Self Esteem" which performed at various benefits throughout the city including O.I.C graduations and a banquet in honor of former Mayor W. Wilson Goode.

In December of 1990 Erskin & Michael G, two original members of "Self Esteem", decided to form a singing group who would be committed to singing the Gospel of Jesus Christ. In January 1991 the Lord sent Tony Strong - and later George Daniels - and Hallelujah, "Fully Committed" was born.

In 1992 Erskin began writing original material (lyrics/music) for "Fully Committed" and produced their first demo tape. (Michael left the group later that same year  to pursue a family). Erskin then created the "Gospel Talent Showcase" - designed to provide exposure for inner city gospel talent by way of stage show, radio, magazine and television - as these became available.

Erskin sponsored many gospel showcases under GTS in honor of Mother's Day, Father's Day, Easter, Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Years, and even helped the Red Cross raise money for the victims of Hurricane Floyd.

Erskin later hosted a forty-five minute radio broadcast he sponsored to showcase local and new gospel talent - called the "Gospel Talent Showcase Radio Hour" on W.T.M.R. Gospel 800 Camden New Jersey. Erskin is also the founder of the

"Gospel Depot" - everything under the Son.

In May of 2007 Erskin was asked to assist in the developement of "Eugene & The Voices Of Glory", and became their Vocal Director, Producer and Song Writer, with three studio sessions to his credit, and did so until February 2014.

Erskin continues to sing, write, produce and co-produce for "Fully Committed" which include albums:  "No Ordinary Man", "Convicted Heart", "God's Love", and "The Best of Fully Committed 2007".
