His interest peaked on becoming a Hip Hop music producer, while living in The Bronx, New York. While taking music as a minor at Lincoln University, he spent countless hours studying what he was taught and applying it to enhance his playing abilities.

Eric played as a percussionist in a Jazz Ensemble. He then began working on solo Smooth Jazz projects. He plays with local Philadelphia R&B bands, and also plays at monthly Spoken Word events. Eric's major musical influences are Ramsey Lewis, Michael Franks, Joe Sample, George Duke, and Ben Tankard.
